In a safe way Counselling provides you with a space to explore meaning and understanding, giving you the tools to move ahead and gain perspective.

Awakening energy imageI offer short (6-12 sessions) and long term (12 and more) counselling.  This is something we will be able to work out at our initial session.

You may need help for a range of issues and though the following list is not limited, here are examples of what people can be helped within counselling.

 

Personal Issues – Stress, Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Phobias, Addiction, Self harm

Relationship Issues – Relationship difficulties, Seperation/Divorce, Domestic Violence, Intimacy problems.

Life Transitions – Bereavement/Loss, Pregnancy, Post-Natal Depression, Menapause, Relocation/Immigration.

Frequency

Initially you will be asked to attend weekly, this aims to support you until we can clarify the issues being raised and understand what may suit your needs best.  Often weekly appointments at a regular time is of most benefit.  However, later in counselling fortnightly or a more flexible frequency can be arranged.
